Rosie Strain
Executive Director About Rosie
Rosie is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Creative Facilitator & Storyteller practicing in the Southwest for the past 20 years.
Growing up in Camphill, Rosie experienced how impactful communities can be and what it means to serve those in need. Rosie runs her own creative arts psychotherapy private practice working predominantly with adults with acute mental health needs. She also has extensive experience working with young people with special educational needs. Rosie is a Creative Director (and co-founder) of Relight, a company offering person-centred professional development workshops and courses. In 2024 she co-founded Wild Dandelion with a vision to develop a supportive and nurturing community of practitioners through therapeutic work, community events and inspired by anthroposophy, person centred and creative arts therapies. A former chair of Dramatherapy Southwest she has experience of leading and developing services which support those in the helping professions. She also sits on the Supervision Sub-Committee of The British Association of Dramatherapists. |
Fran Pioli
Director of Operations About Fran
Fran trained and qualified as an Occupational Therapist and has worked extensively with mental health, particularly in residential community, a role in which she has learnt as much about herself as she has of those she supports.
For 12 years Fran worked in Cherry Orchards supporting those with mental health, and more recently, spent 3 years working in a trauma informed residential centre supporting women recently out of prison. Fran is endlessly fascinated by people, how experiences influence how we engage with the world and one another. She is passionate about supporting people to fulfil their potential, whatever the obstacles they may be facing, and firmly believes that given the right circumstances and support, everyone has the capacity for change and development – herself included. Fran co-founded Wild Dandelion with Rosie with a vision of creating more opportunity and access to therapeutic and wellbeing support for those supporting others. |
Linsey Clark
Director of Relight About Linsey
Linsey qualified as a Person-Centred Dance Movement Psychotherapist over twenty years ago. Over time she has developed her practice to integrate alternative creative methodologies alongside a deepening of an embodied pluralistic approach. More recently Linsey has cultivated a creative and embodied IFS model which she brings to all her roles, therapist, supervisor, facilitator and educator.
Linsey has had the privilege of working in the charitable sector with adult mental health, addiction and learning disabilities, children and adults with ASD. In CAMHS, mainstream and SEN schools, hospice care, early years and private practice. Alongside her clinical practice Linsey is an experienced creative clinical supervisor and educator, having convened, taught and supervised on a DMP Masters for ten years (Dance Voice /Canterbury Christchurch University). Alongside Rosie, Linsey convenes and facilitates Relights' Creative Clinical Supervision Training, accredited by ADMPUK and recognised by UKCP. Linsey appreciates the creative challenge of designing bespoke nurturing, creative and compassionate CPD for those in the helping professions, believing that we develop the most as professionals in compassionate and creative environments, where there is permission for the body mind spirit connection and curiosity is encouraged. Pola Mikolajczyk
Community Engagement Officer About Pola
Pola is a psychology graduate with varied interests. She recently completed a dissertation on the topic of "How Polish people in the UK experience the emotionality of their native vs their second(+) language."
She spends most of her time skateboarding, reading, going on very long walks to heritage sites or making arts and crafts. She has a background in managing events aimed at building community through skateboarding, and is also a youth worker at an indoor skatepark, engaging young people in skateboarding and wheelchair motocross. |
Sally C
Communications Coordinator About Sally
As well as varied experience in arts admin and marketing, Sally is also a photographer and Photovoice-trained workshop facilitator.
As well as photographing for charities and not-for-profits, she delivers community workshops and participatory projects that encourage wellbeing through photography. She is especially interested in exploring the connection between nature, creativity, community and wellbeing, especially in the context of perinatal mental health. |
